Our Come-and-Try Athletics days, give students the opportunity to experience athletics, in an enjoyable, non-competitive setting.
Students have the chance to participate in a variety of races on the track, as well as modified field events.
These days also provide teachers with the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the sport of athletics, the classification process and multi-class pathways.
Formal sporting classification is not required.
General information
Cost: $5.00 per student (schools to pay via inter-company journal process).
Times: Arrive 9:30am. First event 10am. Finish 2pm.
Age Groups: Kindergarten to Year 12.
Events: 50m, 100m, 200m, Shot Put, Long Jump, Discus and Javelin.
Registrations will open Thursday 6th February 2025
